Evelyn Fancher Foote

Obituary of Evelyn Fancher Foote Albion: Evelyn (Fancher) Foote, age 90, passed away on March 27, 2018 with her caring great-granddaughter Tara Mayes by her side at Rochester General Hospital. She was born October 12, 1927 in Albion to the late William and Emma (Welch) Fancher. Evelyn enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling and spending time outdoors. She worked for many years as a professional paperhanger and painter. Evelyn also spent time as a mail carrier and a guard at the Orleans County Jail. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Wilbur in 1996, siblings, Laverne Fancher, Carl Fancher, Frances Landis and Muriel Howlett. Evelyn is survived by her children, John (Patricia) Foote, Larry (Sheila) Foote, Beverly (David) Rowley, 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Evelyn’s funeral service will be held at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion on Monday, April 2nd at 11:00am. Interment will be held in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
