Faunen I. Allen, age 80 of Allis Road, died November 24, 2008 in Sisters of Charity Hospital following a long illness. She was born in the Town of Barre on August 10, 1928 to Earl and Ida Mae Rowley and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker who enjoyed working in the garden with her flowers and also enjoyed crocheting as well as canning. Faunen's greatest joy came from spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
