Obituary of Fay B. Colburn (Morton) Fay B. Colburn age 86 died suddenly April 2, 2015 at Unity Hospital in Rochester. She was born December 15, 1928 in Williamsville, NY, a daughter of the late Luther Earl and Loreen (Hausle) Bliss and had lived in this area all of her life. Fay had babysat for several of her neighbors kids for many years and had also worked as a seamstress at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and crafting. She was predeceased by her brothers Lee, Roy, Dick; her sister Lois Elmer. Fay is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bernard; daughters Kathy Wright of Kendall and Connie (Eddy) Fuller of Kent; 7 grandchildren Mark Wright, Brian Makowiecki, Kara Wright, David and Christina Scribner, Nancy and Katie Wright; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Nina Mayes of Hamlin; sisters-in-law June Bliss, Anne Bliss-Elphick and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 Rte. 31 (W. Albion Rd.) Holley Monday April 6th 5:00pm-6:30pm where her Memorial Service will follow at 6:30pm.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the organization of your choice. Visitation
Monday April 6th 5-6:30pm at the Holley FH Services
Following her calling hours at 6:30pm Interment
Lakeside Cemetery.
