Fern Hickman, age 93, died September 3, 2024 in Elderwood of Lockport following a long illness. She was born October 30, 1930 in Ontario, Canada and had lived in this area most of her life.
Fern worked for the Orleans County Court System for over 20 years as a Bailiff. She and her late husband Robert W. Hickman, owned and operated Hickman Stables, raising and training countless horses for harness racing. Mrs. Hickman was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Hickman, her son: Robert B. Hickman and two siblings.
She is survived by two grandchildren: Stephen (Melanie) Hickman and William (Jamie) Hickman both of Albion, her grandchildren: Benjamin, Isaac, Bailey, Robert as well as several nieces and nephews.
