Florence M. Salvatore, age 85, died 3/18/2015 in United Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family. Florence was born 5/19/1929 in Rochester, New York and had lived in this area most of her life. She worked for many years as a Head Cashier at Loblaws, then as a Production Worker at Black & Decker and finally retiring from Chili Plastics. Florence enjoyed crocheting, working with ceramics and playing BINGO however, her greatest joy was raising her family. Mrs. Salvatore was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 1994, a brother William Smith Jr., and a sister Rita Sawicki. She is survived by her children: Lawrence(Deb)Salvatore of PA, Rosemarie(David)Gaylord of Albion, Nick(Brenda)Salvatore Jr. of Albion, Mary Ann(Patrick Kennedy)McClain of Albion, Donna(Jason)Bowman of CA, 13 grandchildren, as well as several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, MONDAY from 4-7 p.m. Florence's Memorial will take place at 7 p.m. immediately following visitation. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery-Holley in the Spring. Visitation
