Obituary of Floyd A. Beyer Middleport: Floyd A. Beyer, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 27, 2021. He was born September 26, 1941 in Lockport to the late Floyd and Thelma (Beccue) Beyer. Floyd worked as an Electrician for 37 ½ years for the NYS Thruway Authority and was a Junior member of the Wilson Conservation Club for over 50 years. Floyd enjoyed collecting toy tractors and going to toy shows and farm shows. He was an avid hunter as well. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Bev (late Dick), Cornelius, Don, and Sharon Williams. Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Helen, children, Doug (Tania), Deb (Rob), Duane (Erin), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Barbara Beyer, brother-in-law, Richard Williams, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home 38 State St. Middleport, NY 14105 on Thursday, July 1st from 3:00-7:00pm where his funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00am. Private interment will be held in North Ridge Cemetery in Cambria.
