Frances E. Peglow, age 93 formerly of Angevine Road, died 12/6/10 in Orchard Manor Nursing Home. She was born 4/29/17 in Albion to Alonzo and Rose(Case)Smith and had been a life-long resident of this area. Fran was the graduate of the Kendall Central School Class of 1934 and was the Valedictorian of her Class. Mrs. Peglow was a long-time member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church where she had served 25 years as a Sunday School Teacher and 2 terms as Deacon. She was a 42 year member and Past Matron of the Albion Order of the Eastern Star, a 50 year member and Past Regent of the Orleans Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a 32 year member and former Treasurer of the Emma Reid Webster Aid Association, and an avid bottle collector. Fran was also an avid writer having served 12 years as a staff writer for the Albion Advertiser. She was an Ombudsman at the Medina Residential Health Care Facility, loved to spend time in her garden, and adored her children and grand children
