Frank Muccio Jr.

With profound sorrow the family of Frank Muccio, Jr. 72, of Kittery Maine, announce his passing on October 26th, 2023, surrounded by his three loving children.

He is survived by his three children and daughter-in-law; Frank Muccio III and Casey Muccio of Texas, Zeland Schwartz of New Hampshire, Anthony Muccio of Illinois, and his six grandkids; Caleb and Ian of Alabama, Anthony and Ethan of Texas, Ava and Ivan of New Hampshire, and his brother and sister-in-law; Dean Muccio and Mary Muccio of Florida. He will forever be in our hearts; his smile and laughter were contagious.

Anyone that had the chance to meet him would never forget that just being in his presence would bring them happiness, joy and positivity. He was the most loved, thoughtful, charismatic, fun, creative, energetic, caring, supportive, generous person anyone could wish for as a Husband/Father/Grandfather/Friend with the soul of a hero.

He served in the Vietnam War where he met, rescued and married the love of his life, the late Vo Thi Muccio (aka Zeland Muccio), who he has waited to rejoin for 43 years, she had a piece of his heart that can now be put back together for eternity together. He lived in the house that she picked for him that allowed him to ride his bike to work every day, despite the weather, for 50 years before he retired in 2021 from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He loved to ride his bike, go for walks, lay in the sun, spend time with his grandchildren, walk next door for dinner with his best friend, play darts and pool, he will forever be a Legend in all our hearts.

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends alike at his favorite Billiard Tavern, Legends, December 1st from 5-7PM. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Tunnel to Towers https://t2t.org/ using his name to honor him.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion, New York.
