Obituary of Fred C. Kaufman (Gasport) Fred C. Kaufman age 58 died unexpectedly February 24, 2021 at Eastern Niagara Hospital. He was born June 28, 1962 in Lockport, a son of the late Frederick and Joanne (Starkweather) Kaufman and had lived in this area all of his life. Fred loved the outdoors and summer time. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and was a past member of the North Forest Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid sportsman and loved to watch NASCAR or whatever sporting event that was on TV; especially the Buffalo Bills. He attended all of his children’s sporting and school events. Fred was a handy man and referred to himself as “a Jack of all trades and a master of none” who was always there for anyone who needed his help. Fred worked for 22 years at Darien Lake as a Maintenance Mechanic and then at Angelica Textiles in Batavia. He loved animals, especially his dogs. But most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Kathleen Brooks and brother Gary. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kimberly; sons Christopher (Marlena), Matthew (Cheryl), Fredrick (Ashley), step-daughters Amber (Kyle Baker) Librock, Kaitlyn (Sean) Akin; grandchildren Derek, Lincoln, Lucas, Natalia, Priscilla, Roxanne, Gavin, Nolan, Logan, Eli and 2 on the way; sisters Darlene (Gary) Oliver, Patricia (Rick) Williams, Daphne Hoban as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no services. Memorials may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, 1025 Vermont Ave NW, 10th Floor, Washington DC 20005. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home Gasport.
