Obituary of Frederick C. Pettyjohn Albion: Frederick “Fred” Carleton Pettyjohn, age 63, passed away on January 27, 2017. He was born on January 23, 1954 in South Dakota to Theodore and Mary (Dunham) Pettyjohn. Fred loved to fish wherever he could find water. He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed watching his Westerns and spend time with his family. Fred was predeceased by his mother Mary Dunham, father-in-law, Richard Hicks, brother-in-law, Robert Hicks as well as aunts and cousins. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Nancy (Hicks) Pettyjohn, sons, Gary (Rachael) Pettyjohn, Daniel (Christina) Pettyjohn, Skyler (Tiana) Pettyjohn, step-daughter, Candy Mosholder, step-son, Jeremy Mosholder, grandchildren, Allyssa, Kylie, Micah, Jude, Abbie, Tristan, Avery, Calyb, and soon to be grandchild, River Song, brothers, Ted (Laurie) Pettyjohn, Zane (Sharri) Pettyjohn, sisters, Brenda Pettyjohn, Jana Eick, mother-in-law, Shirley Hicks, brothers-in-law, Danny (Debbie) Hicks, Richard Hicks, sister-in-law, Donna (Jimmy) Tarte, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Fred’s memorial service will be held on Friday, February, 10th at 11:00am at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
