Obituary of Gary D. Elder ALBION: Gary Elder age 73, died May 7, 2013 at Highland Hospital. He was born September 28, 1939 in Ithaca NY a son of the late John and Izaretta (Anthony) Elder. Gary was a former employee of Agway, Smith & Vagg, S&S Muckland, Starweather Freight and in the 1980's started Gary Elder Trucking which in 1992 became Elder Trucking. He was a member of B.P.O.Elks Albion Lodge #1006. Gary enjoyed bowling, golf and was known for his great sense of humor. He was always willing to give to others in need.
He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Dolores "Dee" of 50 years; children, Cindy (Harry) Jones of Holley, Michael (Tina) Elder of Lyndonville, Tammy (Ryan Berg) Elder of Albion; 6 grandsons, Perrin London, Brandon Jones, Joshua Berg, Jason Berg, Justin Jones, Jordan Berg; brother, Stan (Sally) Elder of Buffalo; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
