Gary P. Preston

Albion:  Gary P. Preston, 70, passed away in his sleep December 12, 2022, following a short illness.  Gary was born May 3, 1952 in Albion, the son of the late Ronald and Rose (Restivo) Preston.  Gary was a member of Holy Family Parish, Albion Fire Dept. and St. Mary’s Archers Club.  Gary enjoyed cooking and would cook breakfast for the fishermen at St. Mary’s Archers Club.  He would also cook at the Albion Fire Dept. Recreation Hall and started Fatso’s Cook Crew.  Gary was an avid NY Yankee’s and Green Bay Packers fan.  Gary played Santa Clause for many years and enjoyed bringing smiles to everyone.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife Lynette; sons, Justin and Mark; grandson, Ashton Preston; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert (Sandy) Wells; nephews, Adam (Danielle) Wells and Chris (Julie) Wells; great-nieces and nephews, Taylor, Camdyn, Mason and Emma Wells.

A family gathering will be private.  Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
