Gary W. Thaine

Obituary of Gary W. Thaine Albion: Gary W. Thaine, 70, passed away November 17, 2019 at Unity Hospital following a short illness. Gary was born July 30, 1949 in Albion a son of the late Gerald & Janice (Barnum) Thaine. Gary enjoyed golf, camping, puzzles, fishing, NASCAR and owned the Fantasy Football team, “Thunder Rockers”. Gary received the most joy spending time with his family and friends. He retired from the United States Postal Service in Brockport. He is survived by his brothers and sister; Gene (Sue) Thaine, David (Marilyn) Thaine, Tom (Marsha) Thaine, Anita (Brad) Nudd and Michael (Susan) Thaine; nieces & nephews, Justin (Vicky) Thaine, Travis (Heidi) Thaine, Adam (Lindsay) Thaine, Jessica (Tyler) Swanger, Stephanie Thaine, Aaron (Jeannette) Thaine, Abigail Thaine and Kyle Thaine; 2 great-nieces, 1 great-nephew and several cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion on Tuesday November 19, from 4:00-7:00, followed by Gary’s Memorial Service at the Funeral Home at 7:00pm. Private inurnment in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
