Gaylord R. LaClair

Gaylord R. LaClair, age 63, died August 3, 2023 in Unity Hospital following a long illness.

He was born October 14, 1959 in Rochester to Gaylord C. and Julia Ulrich and was a life-long resident of this area and was the #1 Dallas Cowboys Fan. Gaylord was an Autobody Technician and Mechanic and worked for Paul Marshall Trucking and Thermo King. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as classic cars, antique tractors and taking pride in his lawn care ability.

 He is survived by his children: Stacee LaClair of VA, Robert McCaffery of FL, his stepdaughter: Katrina Moyer of FL, his brothers: Joseph, Michael and Clifford Laucht all of Rochester and his sister: Theresa Fleming of ID. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Devin, Blake, Keian, Julia, his great grandson: Keian Jr., Special Friend: Donna (Tom) Cicero of VA, Life-long friends: Paul Couch of Holley, Billy DiGiacco of Rochester as well as several nieces, nephews and many good friends.

There will be no calling hours and a Celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
