Obituary of Genevieve A. Davis Albion: Genevieve A. Davis, 90, passed away Thursday February 15, at The Villages of Orleans. She was born July 18, 1927 in Bergen, NY, the daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Hartway) Kelley. Genevieve had lived in this area all of her life and was a member of the Barre Center Presbyterian Church. She was a lab technician at T.J. Lipton for 25 years, retiring in 1980, and a member of Lipton Lady Retirees and its Ambassador Club; she was also part of a volunteer group that made quilts for the West Barre United Methodist Church. Genevieve also volunteered for Hospice of Orleans and enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, traveling and camping. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 2004; brothers, Kenneth, Francis, Robert, Clifford, Leslie, Carl and sister, Lorraine (Charles) Persons. Genevieve is survived by her daughters, Marie (Robert) Rice of Albion and Sue (Bernhard) Arnesen of Getzville; grandchildren, Robert (Kim) Rice, Timothy (Jennifer) Rice, Ben (Emily) Arnesen and Jacob (Karolin) Arnesen; great-grandchildren, Brett, Haley, Jonathan, Brandon, Trevor and Abigail Rice; brother, Gerald (Diane) Kelley of Holley; sister, Virginia (Paul, deceased) Davis of Albion; sisters-in-law, Doris, Wanda, Violet and Shirley; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue, Albion, Sunday February 18, from 1:00-4:00. Genevieve’s Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday February 19, at 11:00am. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.
