Obituary of George Swartz Sr. Carlton: George P. Swartz Sr. age 65, passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2015. He was born June 2, 1949 in Rochester, raised in Hamlin and was a lifelong resident of Carlton. He worked many years as a mechanic for Philanz Oldsmobile, BR Dewitt and also Local 435 labor union. He was predeceased by his father, George Edward Swartz. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; children, George (Julie), Rebecca, mother, Yolanda (Milizia) Swartz; brothers, Walter, John (Michelle); sister, Anne (Salvatore) Griffo; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue, Albion, Saturday February 7, from 12:00 to 1:00, followed by his Memorial Service at 1:00. Visitation
