Obituary of Georgine Kavulich Albion: Georgine “Stella” Kavulich, age 71, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 23, 2018. She was born July 24, 1946 in Johnson City, NY to the late James and Dorothy (Mekula) Gosart and would move to the Albion area in 1981. Stella loved watching football and was a big Buffalo Bills fan, owning season tickets for a time. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and watching her favorite TV shows. She loved spending time with her family. Being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was what brought her the greatest joy. In addition to her parents, Georgine was predeceased by her daughter Trishia Jeanne Kavulich on August 9, 1976. Stella is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Michael, children, Jay Kavulich, Carey (Clay Rosario) Kavulich, Shelley (Robert Jr.) Pollock, Paul (Stacey) Kavulich, Kristin (Angel Julia Jr.) Kavulich, brother, John (Debbie Patten) Gosart, sister, Marylou (Mario) Valenta, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and beloved canine friend, Tinker. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00pm where her memorial service will be held immediately following at 7:00pm. Interment will be held privately at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Georgine’s name may be made to the charity of ones choice.
