Gerald L. Traino

(Holley) Gerald L. “Butch” Traino, age 78, died July 11, 2023 in Elderwood of Lakeside following a long illness.

He was born April 12, 2023 in Rochester to Louis and Margery (McKenzie) Traino and was a life-long resident of this area. Butch was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a very social person who enjoyed spending time with his friends and had a fantastic sense of humor…something which remained with him until he took his last breath.

Butch is survived by his wife of 43 years Janet, his sons: Jason and Justin Traino, both of Holley, his siblings: Michael, Robert, David, Linda, Judy and Janet, his granddaughter: Jasmine Traino as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 1120 G St. NW, Unit 700, Washington, DC 20005. Butch’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Holley.
