Gilbert L. Narburgh II

Obituary of Gilbert L. Narburgh II (BARRE) Gilbert L. Narburgh II, age 82, died August 21, 2021 in his home following a brief illness. He was born November 4, 1938 in Barre Center to Gilbert and Doris (Ballard) Narburgh and was a life-long resident of this area. Gilbert was a member of the West Barre United Methodist Church, the Barre Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking for his family. Mr. Narburgh was predeceased by his brother James Narburgh. He is survived by his children: Gilbert (Lisa) Narburgh III of Batavia, Michael Narburgh of Barre, Cindy (Daniel Spriegel) Smith of Albion, Sherri Narburgh of Ontario, Kimberly (Paul) Luthart of Medina, Gregory (Amanda) Narburgh of Oakfield, his brother: Robert (Diana) Narburgh of FL, his sister Mary Shuler of Gaines and 8 grandchildren. There will be no calling hours and private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY, 14620.
