Obituary of Glen A. Shawver Glen A. Shawver, age 75, of Gaines, NY died on May 8, 2018 at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY after a long illness. Glen was born March 24, 1943 in Carlton, NY, to Marlin and Virginia (Spacht) Shawver. Glen was predeceased by his father, Marlin Shawver, and his mother Virginia Shawver; his son, Brian Shawver; his brother and sister-in-law, Donald and wife, Marie Shawver; his brother, Randall Shawver; his sister-in-law, Carolyn Shawver; and his brother-in-law, Richard Klafehn. Glen is survived by his son, Steven Shawver; step-children, Chad, Dawn; brothers, Franklin (Shirley) Shawver, Gerald Shawver; his sister, Eva Klafehn; his sister-in-law, Anne Shawver; friend, Rene Gaddis; along with several nieces and nephews. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Glen’s name may be made to Hospice of Orleans P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411.
