Obituary of Glenn Walter Hallifax Glenn “Tom” Walter Hallifax Jr., age 80, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Born September 7, 1935 he is the son of the late Glenn and Marjorie (Nerber) Hallifax Sr. Glenn married Mary Jane Landers July 14, 1962 at St. Michaels Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville. He graduated from UB Pharmacy School and became a pharmacist at Middleport Family Health Center. He had also worked for Peterson Pharmacy. Glenn was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, boating, model airplanes, photography, gardening and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane Hallifax and children: Paul Hallifax, Greg Hallifax, Chris Hallifax and Susan (Bill) Fernandez; grandchildren: Thomas, Mary Margaret, Jospeh, Amy, Benjamin, and Timothy. Brother of Sharon Hallifax and Norman (Sharon) Hallifax. He was predeceased by siblings Donnie and Robert. Glenn is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, NY on Friday from 6 – 8 pm and Saturday from 10 – 11 am. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 11:00 am from the funeral home. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
