Obituary of Grace M. Monacelli Albion: Grace M. Monacelli, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on October 26, 2017. Grace was born September 8, 1936 in McClure PA. a daughter of the late James and Grace (Jewell) Engle and has lived in Albion since 1958. Mrs. Monacelli helped her husband Richard at the family grocery store, Guido’s, which at that time was located on East State St. in Albion. After her children were older, she worked at TJ Lipton’s and then for the N.Y.S.D.O.T Canals, retiring in 1997. Grace enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family and spending time with her family at Camp Graceland. She was a member and past Grand Regent for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her world. She was predeceased by her husband Richard; brothers, Jack, Lloyd, Howard, Robert, William and Richard; sisters, Marion Phillips and Ruth O’Hearn. Grace is survived by her children, Sandra (John) McNall, Richard (Terri) Monacelli, Daniel (Joyce) Monacelli, Nancy (Gary) Moore; grandchildren, Rebecca (Adam) Grillo, Paula Miller, Steven (Carla) Miller, Samantha Seaman, Matthew McNall, Laurel (Tim Muck) McNall, Kayla McNall, Cassondra (Brian) Schomske, Jacob (Melissa) Monacelli, Daniel, Matthew and Jennifer Monacelli, Niccole and Gary Moore; great-grandchildren, Anna, Lena, Ella, Owen, Drake, Matthew, Kyle, Isabella and Vincent; brothers, Walter (Linda) Engle and Don (Linda) Engle; sister, Jane Pahuta; brothers-in-law, Don O’Hearn and Guido (Anita) Monacelli; sisters-in-law, Janet Engle, Shirley (Tom) Craddock and Ann (Louis) Ripich; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave Albion, on Sunday October 29, from 2:00-6:00. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, Monday October 30, at 11:00am. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
