Obituary of Grace Rosalie Nicolia Grace Rosalie Nicolia of Lyndonville, NY passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Nicolia was born in Albion, NY on May 11, 1924 daughter of the late Charles and Rosalie (Salemi) Manzella. She was a graduate of Albion High School and she attended Beauty and Cosmetic School in Rochester NY. She lived most of her life in Middleport and owned and operated Grace's Beauty Shop in Middleport. She and her husband Vincent A. Nicolia were married April 24, 1954. Mrs. Nicolia was a member of Holy Trinity Parish/St.Stephen's RC Church in Middleport and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband and she enjoyed her family, playing golf, camping, music and she enjoyed dancing. She was predeceased by siblings James Manzella, Josephine Manzella, Frances Ponterella and Jerry Manzella. She is survived by her husband Vincent A. Nicolia, two sons Anthony (Toni Marie) Nicolia of Greece and Vincent (Kathy) Nicolia of Brockport, three grandchildren Anthony William Nicolia of Ohio, Cassandra Marie Nicolia of Buffalo and Angela Mary (Mark) Behrend of Alden, NY. Also surviving are three greatgrandchildren Jacob John Behrend, Luke Vincent Behrend, Mia Grace Behrend, a sister Ann DePlato of Leroy, NY., and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. Members of Holy Trinity Parish will meet at the funeral home Friday at 8:30 PM for a Vigil Service. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Parish/St.Stephen's RC Church, Vernon St., Middleport where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J.
