Obituary of Gregory States Kent/Albion: Greg States age 44, died suddenly April 19, 2013. Greg was born March 19, 1969 in Brockport NY to Bill and Bette (Crary) States. He is a 1987 Graduate of Albion High School. Greg served for six years in the U.S. Air Force as a Missile Defense Technician. Locally, he worked as a Computer Support Technician for Erie 1 Boces in Buffalo. Greg's favorite time of the year was the fall when he could enjoy his two favorite things, hunting and football. Greg put family above all else.
Greg is survived by his parents, Bill and Bette; his wife, Heidi (Saternus) States; close friend Jodi (Coots) States; children, Codey and Peyton States; step-children, Tisha, Cody and Ashton Drought; granddaughter, Ryleigh. He is also survived by his sister, Dee Dee (Gerry) DiMarco, and their six children, Emma, Gerry Jr., Julia, Sarah, Ava and Lila; several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Saturday April 27, from 1:00-5:00, where Greg's Memorial Service will be held Sunday April 28, at 1:00.
