Hazel V. Stevens

Obituary of Hazel V. Stevens Carlton: Hazel V. Stevens died March 30, 2017. Hazel was born March 14, 1931 in Woodville, Maine, a daughter of the late Guy and Minnie (Day) Spinney. Hazel had lived in this area most of her life and attended the Albion First Baptist and also enjoyed fishing.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Donna Jean Smith; great-grandsons, Jacoby Jenks and Kenny Smith; and also several brothers and sisters.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert; daughters, Diana Jenks of MD, Vicky (Roger) Ettinger of Albion, Vera (Sam) Kerstetter of Albion, Brenda (Tom) Newbould of Albion; sons, Dennis (Donna) Jenks of Holley, Griffith (Norma) Jenks of ME, Michael (Camille) Jenks of Albion; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; sisters, Emma Ashbery of Albion, Linda Thault and Ethel Mullen both of ME; brother, Ernst Spinney of ME; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue in Albion. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Hazel’s name to the American Cancer Society.
