Obituary of Helen W. Carr (WEST BARRE)
Helen (Waldo) Carr, age 88, of W. Barre Road, died September 12, 2007 at her residence following a long illness. She was born April 14, 1919 in the Town of Barre to Homer and Alena(Bragg)Waldo and was a lifetime resident of this area. As a life-long member of the West Barre United Methodist Church, Helen held many Church Offices including being Past President of the WSCS. Her church involvement remained constant as she coordinated all the church dinners. Following raising her children, the Church was her life as she was a true disciple of the Lord. Mrs. Carr was also an active member of the Orleans County Order of the Eastern Star, and will live in infamy for her cooking and especially baking pies.
