Helen M. Persia

Obituary of Helen M. Persia Brockport/Holley: Helen M. Persia age 99, died Saturday November 12, at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center. She was born August 10, 1917 in Brockport a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Phoebe) Cole. Helen graduated from Holley High School and worked at the Holley Jr. High School for many years in the cafeteria. Helen enjoyed getting together with friends to play cards and socialize. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Holley.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert Persia in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Michael) Campbell of Kendall; sons, Donald (Judy) Persia of Hauppauge, NY, Berly “Skip” (Viola) Persia of Troy, NY; 8 grandchildren and known and loved by all of her 18 great-grandchildren; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 Route 31, Holley, Saturday November 19, from 12:00-2:00, where her Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411.
