Obituary of Helen Salvatore (ALBION)
Helen L. Salvatore, age 92 of E. State Street, died peacefully at her home 9/12/2012 surrounded by her family and following a long illness. She was born 12/29/19 in Albion to Gerald and Marian(Pettine)Fortunato and was a lifetime resident of this area. Helen was a member of Holy Family Parish, and will be remembered for how she took such loving care of her home and her family. Mrs. Salvatore was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her son David, 3 brothers: Ross, Joseph, Nino Fortunato, 2 sisters: Wilma Callara, and Santina Monacelli. She is survived by her son: Jerry(Roxanne LaMartina)Salvatore of Albion, daughter: Marion(Dan Bartlett)Salvatore of Albion, daughter-in-law: Linda Salvatore of Albion, sisters: Elsie Barringer of Albion, Fannie DiRose of Batavia, 6 grandchildren: Kimberly Loyd, Thomas Mullins, Michael Salvatore, Jerry Salvatore, Michelle Hughson, Amy Salvatore-Lewis, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans. Visitation
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, FRIDAY from 4-8 pm Services
Prayers will be said SATURDAY at 8:30am followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish at 9:00 am. Interment
Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery
