Obituary of Helen G. Schuth (SPENCERPORT)
Helen G. Schuth, age 101, formerly of Spencerport, died 11/12/10 in Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, comfortably and at peace with much loving care. She was born September 28, 1909 in New York City to Waite Hatch and Laura Ann(VanWagner)Gorton. She lived independently for 100 years. Helen and her brother were left orphans when she was 11 years old and grew up at Hillside Childrens Center. Mrs. Schuth lived in Ogden for over 75 years. She served as secretary of Greece Baptist Church and sang in the choir from 1932. She also served as assistant Town Clerk of Spencerport for many years. Mrs. Schuth and her husband enjoyed traveling world-wide until his death in 1993. Helen will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, cook, craft maker and gardener. She was a fine artist as well
