Obituary of Horace Wilson Horace Wilson, 82, went home to be with Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2014 after a long illness. He was born in Gray, Georgia, the son of Charlie and Annie Mae (Franks) Wilson and moved to the Waterport area in 1957. He worked in Construction for many years before retiring and was a longtime Deacon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Horace was preceded in death by his first wife and brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Bertha (Long); Stepdaughter, Shirley; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; two Sisters, Annie Mae Redding and Annie Louise Young both of Georgia; and a host of Nieces, Nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 11am-noon at the Shiloh Baptist Missionary Church, 3286 Crandall Rd. Albion. Services will immediately follow at noon with Pastor Walter officiating. Interment will be in Lynhaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made the or the .
