8/23/1930- 11/5/2016 Went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Son of Max and Dorothy Brusie. Beloved husband of the late Carol A. Brusie. Loving father of Kathy (Charley) Crawford, Christine Tyler, Janet (Roger) Bickle, and Howard (Tammy) Bruise.
Cherished step-father of Lisa Fitzak, Mark and Todd Shervin, and Darlene Dion. Loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Brother of Shirley McGirr and David Brusie. Howard was a proud United States veteran. He served in the Army during the Korean war. He was a devout Christian, an active member at Oak Orchard Assembly of God. He loved the NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills. Predeceased by his grand-daughter Melissa Johnson, and sisters, Audrey Henry and Ruth Kendall. The family will be present on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God 12111 Ridge Rd., Medina, to receive friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm.
