Obituary of Howard Mottorn Howard Mottorn, age 90, of Barker, entered into rest on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Born May 21, 1928 in Pennsylvania, Howard is the son of the late Andrew and Grace (Callan) Mottorn. Howard was an avid bowler and NASCAR enthusiest and enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years. He served in the US Army from 1947 until 1949 during WWII. Howard worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport as an assembler. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lyndonville and the American Legion Post #410. Howard married Annette Bluman April 14, 1984 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Surviving Howard is his wife, Annette and children: Jacklyn (Jerry) Smith and Lisa (Ray) Eyten and grandchildren: Wayne, Angel, Keith, Ivy and Melissa and sister: Nancy (Dick) Cooper. 7 great-grandchildren also survive Howard. Howard was predeceased by siblings: Kenneth, Lucille, Hazelle and Robert and stepchildren: Edward Merchant, Michael Merchant and Coral and Gordon Newman. There will be no prior visitation. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Hartland Central Cemetery at 11:00 am.
