Ida M. Perry Sweet

Obituary of Ida M. Perry Sweet Ida M. Sweet (Perry), age 83, of Middleport, entered into rest on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Medina Memorial Hospital. Born October 12, 1930 in Warsaw, NY, Ida is the daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle (Dunning) Perry. Ida and her late husband, George Sweet, were married January 23, 1954 in Batavia. Ida worked as a health care aide for Mercy Home Care in Lockport. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, puzzles and playing cards. An avid baker, Ida always had cookies on hand for anyone who dropped by to visit. Ida was a member of the Middleport United Methodist Church and had lived in Middleport for the past 43 years, previously of Warsaw, NY. Surviving Ida is her loving son: Timothy (Leanne) Sweet of Apex, North Carolina. Dearest grandmother of: Avery Sweet. Sister of the late: Shirley Cook, Marion Pickney and Raymond Perry. Ida is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Middleport United Methodist Church, 9 Park Avenue, Middleport, NY with the Pastor Jim Knapp officiating.
