Obituary of Irene Fisk Irene (Nagy) Fisk, age 91, formerly of Newfane, entered into rest on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Valley Cottage, NY. Born July 13, 1927 in Perth Amboy, NY, Irene is the daughter of the late: Stephen and Irma (nee Thomas) Nagy. Irene married LaVern E. Fisk August 25, 1945 at Newfane First Baptist Church. Mr. Fisk died September 25, 1996. Irene was a member of the Newfane Golden Agers, AMOC Seniors at Olcott, NY and the Ransomville Retirees, and a longtime attendee of Grace Bible Church where she attended its Grace Bible Study. Surviving Irene is her son: Thomas (Roxanne) Fisk and daughter: Pauline (Wayne) Bailey; Sister: Gloria Clark; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Besides her husband Irene is predeceased by a sister: Yolanda Halas. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, NY on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 10 am until 11 am. Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home immediately following with interment in Wrights Corners Cemetery, Newfane, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Bible Church.
