Obituary of Irene Mosher Thompson (Olmsted, OH/Albion)
Irene Mosher Thompson, formerly of Albion, died 8/10/10 in Olmsted Manor Nursing Home in North Olmsted, OH. She was born 7/14/1910 in Shongo, NY and was the daughter of William and Mary(Jenison)Mosher. In October of 1940, she married Franklin Pierce Thompson. He died in March of 1970. In April of 1992, Irene moved to the Cleveland, OH area and lived independently enjoying her favorite pastimes such as baking and cleaning. In November of 2005 she fell and broke her hip. Following surgery to repair her break, she moved into an assisted living facility. Following several more falls during the following year, it was necessary for Irene to move into a nursing home where she spent the last year and a half.
