Obituary of Jack Baker (ALBION)
Jack D. Baker, age 70 of Ridge Road, died 2/11/2014 in Medina Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born 2/12/1943 in Albion to Clarence and Edith(Mull)Baker and had lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Baker was a US Navy Veteran having served from 1960-1964 and was a member of the Holley American Legion and the Holley VFW. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and in earlier days, Jack enjoyed going on cruises, golfing and playing cards. Mr. Baker was predeceased by his brother William Baker, and his sisters: Marian Patience, Eileen Boardway, Florence Cosimo, and Shirley Emery. He is survived by his loving companion of over 20 years: Donna Brooks, his daughters: Elly Jones of Hamlin, Tina(Rick)Zinsmeister of Morton, Flo(Eric)Johnston of Albion, his brother: Albert Baker of Barre Center, his sister: Doris(Gary)Antinore of Albion, 4 grandchildren: Douglas, Matthew, Jessica, Taylor, his great granddaughter Isabelle as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, FRIDAY from 12-2 p.m. where his Jack's Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. following visitation. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans. Visitation
