Jacqueline M. Bedford

Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Bedford of Gasport, formerly of Middleport, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 23, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born June 19, 1941 in Lockport to the late James and Cora (Raymond) Parker.

Jackie was a retiree from Harrison Radiator after almost 30 years of employment. She along with her husband Raymond enjoyed going to garage sales, yard sales, estate sales and any other sales all over the area most weekends, often driving hundreds of miles. She was an avid collector of anything strawberry, carousel horse, and lady bug related. Jackie was always very thoughtful with any gift she gave to anyone, usually smiling ear to ear as she gave it to them. She was a very giving woman who always enjoyed a good phone conversation and truly loved spending time with her family and watching her family grow throughout the years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Randy, granddaughter Megan Jo Bedford, great-granddaughters Mia Becker, Maddie Becker, grandson Carl Stiles and several of her brothers and sisters-in-law.

Jackie is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Raymond, children Debi (late Eason) Muir, Terry (late David) Herrington, Raymond (Terri) Bedford, Gregory (Patti) Bedford, Sean Bedford, George (Lupé) DeLucas, Jimmy (Crystal) DeLucas, Michael (Kim) DeLucas, Kelly Jo (Nathan) Massicotte, Bobbi Jo (Bryan) Dwyer, 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, sister Marlene (late Milton) Bower, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jackie’s family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067 on Sunday, April 28th from 10:00-12:00pm where her funeral service will follow at 12:00. Interment will be held in Huskey Cemetery.
