James Carlin

Obituary of James Carlin Brockport: James H. Carlin age 80, died November 29, 2013. He was born January 23, 1933 in North Tonawanda a son of the late Charles and Rose (Baumgartner) Carlin. Jim had lived in Brockport since 1969 and had owned and operated several businesses in Monroe and Orleans County. He had served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and then served in the US Army. Jim was a member of the Church of the Nativity of the BVM in Brockport. During his spare time, Jim enjoyed tinkering and fixing things.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Bill (Dixie) Carlin Sr.; grandchildren, William Carlin Jr., Holly Carlin; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
No prior calling hours. Jim's graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Mt. Albion Cemetery (Rte.31, Veterans Companion Section). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation
