Obituary of James DiFlorio Albion: James V. DiFlorio age 82, died May 4, 2014 at his home. He was born January 2, 1932 in Hulberton a son of the late Dominic and Angelina (Felice) DiFlorio, Jim was a member of Holy Family Parish and a life member of the Hook and Ladder Co. of the Albion Fire Dept. and a former member of the Albion Emergency Squad. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Jim was a former employee of T.J. Lipton in Albion and Acro Industries in Rochester, working into his 70's.
He was a loving husband to Mary, who died in 1983. Loving father of, Daniel (Tracy) DiFlorio of Chili, Larry Di Florio of Penfield; loving grandfather of, Nicholas, Michael, Loralei; brother, John DiFlorio of Rome; nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Thursday from 4:00-8:00. Jim's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church, W. Park St. Albion, Friday at 10:00am. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Albion Fire Dept. Visitation
