James "Jim" Herdendorf

Obituary of James "Jim" Herdendorf Albion: James "Jim" L. Herdendorf, 66, died suddenly February 10, 2017 at his residence. Jim was born December 12, 1950 in Albion, a son of the late Leroy and Betty (Brundish) Herdendorf. Jim was a 1968 graduate of Albion High School and was employed by the Village of Albion for nearly 40 years, retiring in 2005. Jim volunteered for the Albion Fire Dept. Fire Police. Jim enjoyed watching TV, reading Science Fiction and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Robert Ashworth. His is survived by his siblings, Arnold Herdendorf of Albion, David Herdendorf of Arkansas, Sharon Ashworth of Arkansas and Michael Herdendorf of Arkansas; uncle, David Brundish of Albion and several cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion on Monday February 20, from 2:00-5:00, followed by Jim’s Memorial Service at the Funeral Home at 5:00. Memorials may be made to the Albion Fire Dept. 106 N. Platt St. Albion, NY 14411.
