Obituary of James R. Leibring James R. Leibring, age 70, of Gasport, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. Born January 25, 1943 in Lockport, James is the son of the late: Jacob and Rosa (Riemer) Leibring. James graduated from Royalton-Hartland Central School in 1961. He attended General Motors Institute and graduated in 1965. He also attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY where he received his masters in Engineering in 1966. He was employed by General Motors/Delphi as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and worked there until he retired in December of 2008. James enjoyed bowling and was an avid NY Yankee fan. He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading. James is survived by his loving wife: Patricia (Brado-Vincent) Leibring. Dear father of: Jill (Bret) Eldridge and Tammy Hayes both of Middleport. Step father of: Randy (Kelly) Vincent of Kentucky, Shelley (Robert) Martens of Seattle, James (Kathy) Vincent of Salt Lake City and Tricia (John) Haney of Lockport. Grandfather of: Nicholas (Kristina) Leibring, Kelsey and Carly Eldridge, Kodey Hayes, Brad and Ashley Martens, Amberly and Kyle Vincent and Kelly Haney. Great grandfather of: Kaden Leibring. Also surviving James are his siblings: June Leibring of Webster, William (Sharon) Leibring of Texas and Fred (Kathleen) Leibring of Colorado. James is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 great grandchildren: Brody and Riley Leibring. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 am from Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY with the Reverend Rodney Klinzing officiating. Interment will be in Orangeport Union Cemetery, Gasport, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Zion Lutheran Church or Niagara Hospice.
