Obituary of James J. Loughrey James J. "Joe" Loughrey of Middleport passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at his home.
Joe was born in Medina, NY on February 10, 1960 son of Mary H. (Murphy) Loughrey and the late James D. Loughrey III.
He has lived in Middleport most of his life and was a graduate of Royalton -Hartland High School in l978.
He and his wife Lynn A. (Allcorn) Loughrey were married June 4, l994.
Joe was employed as a pile driver for Custom Crews in Lockport, NY., and was a member and very active in the Middleport Fire Company. He had also served on Tri-Town Ambulance Co. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, camping and his friends. He also enjoyed working on farms part-time and enjoyed being outdoors and he also enjoyed his dogs "Sadie" and "Mocha".
He is survived by his wife Lynn A. Loughrey, two children Joseph R. Loughrey and Marguerite Loughrey both of Middleport. his mother Mary Loughrey of Middleport, two brothers and one sister Gary (Tonya) Loughrey and Lee Ann (Richard) Filarowski all of Middleport and Richard D. Loughrey of Medina.
Also surviving is his aunt Joyce Murphy of Middleport and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Fuenral Home, 38 State St., Middleport.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Royalton Methodist Church at 11:00 Am with the Rev. Robert Frank officiating.
