Obituary of James O'Mara James A. O'Mara age 74 died November 21, 2012 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. He was born April 15, 1938 in Holley, a son of the late James and Orienta (DiMascio) O'Mara and had lived in this area all of his life. Jim had served in the US Army from 1956-1958 and was a member of the Strickland Post VFW of Albion. He had worked at General Electric in Brockport for over 27 years. Jim was also a member of the St. Mary's Athletic Club and loved to golf and fish. But most of all Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his sister Carolyn O'Mara and dear friend John Penna. Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria; his son James "Buzzy" (Lisa Girvin) of Albion; his daughters Pamelia (Rick Heise) Taylor of Albion, Linda (Brian) Burke of Albion, Debra O'Mara of Albion, Brenda "Bear" Creasey of Albion; 6 grandchildren Joshua (Laura) Wolck, Michael Sargent, Danielle Wirth, Alexis Creasey, Christian Swiercznski, Nicolina Creasey; brother John (Carol) O'Mara of Holley; sisters Annette Geraci of Holley, Anita (Larry) Pimm of Bergen; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Saturday 11:00-3:00. Services
His Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 3:00 at the Funeral Home followed by full military honors. Interment
