Obituary of James P. Smith Albion: James P. Smith, 62, passed away June 14, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born November 18, 1956 in Albion, NY a son of the Irene (Goodwin) Smith and the late Richard Wesley Smith. Jim was a lifetime member of the St. Mary’s Athletic Club and had worked at Lake Ontario Fruit as a fork lift operator for 32 years. Jim was a very social person and loved playing with his grandchildren and great-grandson Xavier. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary O. & Martha Atkins. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sharon; children, Amanda (Patrick Weis) Smith of Albion, Jamie (Antonio) Valadez of Albion, Jeremy (Casey Durow) Smith of Albion; grandchildren, Chloe, Sean, Dominic, Kylee, Antonio, Paris, Alexis, Taylor and Braelyn; great-grandson, Xavier; his mother, Irene Smith of Medina; siblings, Richard Smith of WV., Sue (Ron Roth) Smith of Albion, Dennis (Tammy) Smith of NC., Bettyann (Lonnie) Froman of Medina; several nieces, nephews, cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, on Saturday June 22, from 11:00-1:00, followed by Jim’s Memorial Service at the funeral home at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.
