James D. Smith

Obituary of James D. Smith Holley: James D. Smith age 69, died June 6, 2014. He was born May 21, 1945 in Weedsport, NY, a son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Hopkins) Smith. Jim was a former Police Officer with the Palmyra Police Dept. and a volunteer fireman for the Palmyra Fire Dept. Jim was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed camping and traveling. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Smith. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pat; son, David (Mel Hacker) Smith of Canandaigua; brother, William (Jean) Smith of Cicero; also survived by his mother-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at the Cornerstone Church, 3426 Hulberton Rd. Holley NY, Saturday at 11:00 with the Rev. Alex True officiating. A Celebration of His life will follow at the Holley Fire Dept. Thomas St. Holley NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans P.O. Box 489, Albion NY 14411. Services
