Obituary of James P. Strobel (ALBION)
James P. Strobel, age 54 of Day Street, died 12/16/2016 in the Buffalo Veterans Administration Medical Center following a short illness. He was born 3/25/1962 in Buffalo to Arthur and Beatrice (O’Leary) Strobel and had lived in this area over 20 years. Jim was a United States Army Veteran having served from 1980-1983. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, and had a special affinity for Chevy Blazers. He’ll always be known as a “Big Guy with a Big Heart.” He is survived by his daughter: Nicole(Chris)Adrian of NE, siblings: Mike, Timmy, Donald, Linda, Virginia, Shelly, Peggy and grandchildren: Leviticus, River, Indypendence as well as his beloved cat, “Buddy.” There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Jim’s Memorial Service at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, THURSDAY beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Pembroke National Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY, 41076.
