Obituary of Janet J. Donner Janet J. Donner formerly of Middleport passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Newfane Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center,Newfane, NY. Mrs. Donner was born on February 26, 1925 daughter of the late Edward and Ida (Nadler) Eick. She has lived most of her life in the Middleport area and was employed in the clerical department of FMC Corporation in Middleport retiring in l990 after several years of service. Mrs. Donner was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, a member of the Woman's Guild at Holy Cross, a member of the Dale Association and she enjoyed singing in the Dale Association Chorus. She was also a member of the Middleport and Newfane Senior Citizens and she enjoyed Histop. She enjoyed her family, loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she also enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling with her best freind Jean Grant. Mrs. Donner was predeceased by her husband Allison J. Donner in 1962 and her siblings Norman (Mary) Eick and Hilda (Edward) Orlando. She is survived by two daughters Sandra (Ken) Marks of Lockport and Diane (Don) Taddie of S. Carolina;four grandchildren Michelle (Dan) Hook and Eric (Amy) Marks all of Rochester, NY., Bryan (Melissa) Karijanian and Kimberly Karijanian all of California. Also surviving are five great grandchildren Zachery Hook, Natalie Hook, Sayda Karijanian, Ava Marks, Keegan Marks , her two step grandchildren William Karijanian of S. Carolina and Michael (Allie) Karijanian of California and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Middleport with Deacon Richard Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery.
