Janet Maines

Albion: Janet L. Maines, age 88, passed away peacefully May 8, 2023 at the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence. She was born August 4, 1934 in Albion to the late Kenneth and Ruth (Gartland) Hollinger.

Janet enjoyed tending to flowers, especially orchids and gardening. Janet and her late husband Harry loved traveling and sailing together. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harry Maines, brothers, Kenneth and John.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (John Ross) Mercer, Susan (Mark) Morreall, grandchildren, Hayley and Sarah Ross, Kelsey and Sean Morreall, several great grandchildren, brother David (Chris) Hollinger, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Janet will be held privately.
