Janet A. Mowers

Obituary of Janet A. Mowers (Kendall) Janet A. Mowers, a great mom and grandmother who adored her grandchildren, died on December 31, 2020. She was born August 28, 1930 in Ellenburg NY, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Exina (Cooke) Patrie and had lived in this area for most of her life. Janet was a member of the Gaines Carlton Community Church, the Sunshine Lady Choir and the Kendall Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She loved children and opened her home to baby sit. She loved to bake cakes and her Friday morning breakfast group at Two Brothers, but said the Village House had the best french onion soup. Janet was an avid letter writer and a good friend. She was always reaching out to people with a letter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Roland and her son Mark. She is survived by her daughters Patricia (Bruce) Levandowski, Jacki (Steve) Sciarabba; her son Todd Mowers; grandchildren Michael Levandowski, Paige (Mat) Hungerford, Shane Mowers; great-grandson Clay Michael Hungerford; sister Joyce (Robert) Peters; brother James (Patricia) Patrie as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no prior calling hours. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday May 15th at 2:00pm at the Gaines Carlton Community Church.
