Obituary of Janet M. Turrell Entered peacefully into rest surrounded by her family on July 19, 2017. Daughter of the late Harry and Bessie Adams. Beloved wife of the late Edward Turrell. Loving mother of Richard, Ronald (Laurie), James (Barbara) Turrell, Marilyn (Robert) Curtiss, John Turrell, Katherine (Martin) Hirner. Grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 20. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and numerous loving friends. Predeceased by her sister Arlene Wagner. Janet graduated from Medina High School. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Janet and Edward loved to travel by RV to many places, across the country, wintered in New Port Richy, FL. Janet was an exceptionally hardworking kind women loved by many. She will be remembered for her fashion sense. Janet was a member of the Eastern Star in Middleport, NY for many years. Janet and her husband were former members of the First Baptist Church in Medina. Janet's family would like to thank all the special care shown by her aid Danielle Sanders, the staff at Applegate Manor, the staff at Odd Fellows, and a special thanks to Jim at Medina Transport. The family will be present to receive on Monday from 4:00 until 6:00 pm to receive friends at the Bates Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street, Middleport, NY 14105, where a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm.
